Makeup I´m Currently Loving

It´s been awhile since I talked about what products I have been loving at the moment, mainly because I use a lot of the things over and over again but recently there have been a few additions to my makeup routine that I haven´t been able to stop using.
Recently I have been loving a primer, and actually using it every time I use makeup I honesty can´t remember doing this, I normally forget, but this one has really amazed me, the primer in question is the Makeup Forever Step 1 Smoothing primer, it just improves the texture of my skin and like the primer says smooths it, which is my biggest concern with my skin is the texture, it´s a new release from the brand, there are actually quite a few for different concerns, I also have my eye on the Mattifying one.
For my base I have been obsessed with 2, the Dior Star Foundation for when I want more coverage and the Chanel Vitalumìere Aqua for the days I want a lighter base that still gives me good coverage and if I need more I just pop a little bit of concealer.
For blush I have been loving Mac Crisp Whites from the new collection Wash and Dry, it´s a lovely peach colour.
For my eyes I have been loving this crayon Colorband Eyeshadow and liner from Bourjois in the shade 02 Brun, a lovely bronzy color perfect to Summer.
Finally for my lips I have been wearing non stop the Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in the shade 06, a lovely nude.

These are my current favourites, what are yours?

Paris Haul

In my previous post I showed you what makeup I took with me when I went to Paris, now is time to show you what I bought. Let´s just say mama went a little nuts and clearly was feeling spendy! My poor wallet is still crying from the money that is no longer there!!

First I went to Sephora and did some damage, I bought the Estée Lauder Perfectionist Foundation, I have been wanting this for awhile but couldn't find my shade, I haven´t used it enough to have much of an opinion, but when it comes to foundation i don´t think Estée Lauder foundations are for me, simply because I have such a hard time finding a shade that suits me they all look very orangey or pink for my liking, oh the struggle! I also bought the Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream which I have yet to use. I also bough the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, that I have been enjoying using.
I bought the Chanel Vitalumière Aqua in the Airport, I have heard so many good things about it that I finally caved in and bought it and I have to say I love it! I didn´t think I would because is quite light but I do, it covers pretty much everything I need, I hardly need concealer.
Back to what I bought at Sephora, I had to pick up more of the By Terry Ombre Black Star, this time in the shades Misty Rock and Beyond Gold, Yas it´s love! They are amazing!!! Love Love these!
My little drugstore purchase was the Maybelline Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil in 210 Keep it Classy.
Next I went to Printemps and I went a little wild! First I went to Nars and finally bought 2 lip products that have been sold out everywhere, I couldn't find anywhere or online, so I was so excited when they had it there. The lipsticks in question are the Nars Audacious lipstick in Anna and the Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Damned.
And now for the grand finale I went to the Tom Ford counter! I have been wanting Tom Ford Makeup for so long and now finally took the plunge. I had one lipstick when Tom Ford Beauty first launched with the white packaging. I bought 3 Lipsticks in Pink Dusk, Indian Rose and Violet Fatale and 3 Eyeshadow Quads, Cocoa Mirage, Golden Mink and Cognac Sable. I love them! I have been having so much fun playing around with them!

So here it my Paris Haul.

The Paris Makeup Bag

Recently I went to Paris, so I thought that I would break down what I took with me.
I tried not to get carried away and just bring the bare minimal. I did just that except I brought quite a few lip options!
For my base I brought the Bourjois 123 CC Cream, I love the coverage it gives, it´s one my favourite foundations ever! For concealer I went with my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, currently obsessed with this to cover my under eyes circles, sexy I know!
For blush I actually took 2, the Benefit Dallas, a current favourite, I´m so obsessed with this blush that I have to force myself to use something else! I also took the Nars blush in Gina ( not in the photo) , a  favourite of mine, but most of the time I used Benefit Dallas. For bronzer I took Nars Laguna, one of my Holy Grails, I love it so much!
For my eyeshadow I took my beloved Mac Soba, I can´t go anywhere without this! My favourite eyeshadow of all time! I actually have 2, one in my Mac palette and another in the pan , that´s how much I love it! I also brought the Dior palette in 796 Cuir Cannage, a beautiful neutral palette. For mascara I obviously took another holy grail of mine the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara.
Finally for lips here´s where I went a bit mental, I brought Mac Patisserie ( holy grail), Maybelline Color Elixir in 725 Caramel Infused, Nars Audacious Lipstick in Anita, Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Doce Vita , Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 92 Èmotion.

I also did quite a bit of shopping, haul coming soon....

Kiko Boulevard Rock- Spring 2014 Collection

Kiko is becoming one of my favourite affordable brands, I specially love their limited edition collections.
When I first spotted this collection, the first thing I was drawn to where the eyeshadow palettes, I ended up buying 2 if theres one thing I need more of is eyeshadow palettes NOT! But I couldn't help myself they just looked so darn pretty!
In the end I left with 5 things:
- Street Fashion eyeshadow Palette in 02 Addictive Song and 03 Grounge Couture 14.90£
- Skinny fit Kajal in 03 Progressive Turquoise and 04 Symphonic Blue  6.90£
- Rock Attraction Bronzer in 01 Steady Honey  15.90£

I wanted to get the face skin glow as well but they were sold out, I´m still hoping I´m going to find it.

So far I have tried the Eyeshadow Palette in Addictive song , I love the matte brown shade but I have to say they are quite sheer,so if you like an intense shadow look I would say to skip buying this palette. The other 3 shades I haven´t tried yet but maybe if you keep building the colour the colour payoff will be better, but like I said I LOVE the matt brown shade!
The Grounge Couture Palette I was so drawn to it, it has beautiful shades that coming summer time I´m going to be rocking but I have to say I´m a neutral shadow lover so the blues are only going to be underneath the lash line I´m afraid i´m not going to be rocking blue eyeshadow, which takes me to the eyeliners I think in the summer are going to be great to add a pop of colour to my makeup, again only underneath the lash line. And finally the bronzer I just had to have it, I´m getting into wearing bronzer again and I just loved the look of it, this shade is more orangey than the other one, but when I swatched in store I preferred this one, I wore it once and it just added a little bit of warmth to my face it didn´t look orange on me but if you are very fair you should swatch it and try to see if you like it.
This are only first impressions I just bought them a couple days ago.

Have you bought anything from this collection? Let me know in the comments.

Charlotte Tilbury Makeup

A few months back I posted about my Charlotte Tilbury makeup wish list. This post is way overdue since I got these products just before Christmas, so I had plenty of time to play with them.
I placed a order from the Selfridges website and paid 15£ for shipping but I came in less than 4 days, it came so fast it was worth it!
I did not order everything that I wanted but I still made a little dent on my bank account. I have no regrets! Haha

In the end I ended up ordering:
- The Colour Coded Eyeshadow Palette in Dolce Vita - 38£
This palette is beautiful, the shadows are so buttery and the pigmentation is amazing.
- The FilmStar Bronze & Glow- 49£
The packaging is stunning takes you back to the Old Hollywood Era when everything was just so Glamorous and Fabulous! I love the Bronzer and the Highlighter, again the pigmentation is amazing. I´m Obsessed!!
- The Colour Chameleon Colour Morphing Eyeshadow Pencil in Amber Haze - 19£
Another winner, I love the colour and pigmentation.
- Make up Bag - 15£
I just had to have it!! It´s so cute.
( I couldn´t  find it in the website anymore, sorry)

This is what I bought, and I couldn´t be happier with it and I can´t wait to make another order so I can pick up the other bits that I still want. It´s not the cheapest but is totally worth it!!

Chanel Holiday 2013 Nuit Infinie Collection

When I first heard about  this collection I knew the Ombré Matelassées Eyeshadow Palette in Charming I knew it had to be mine!!! I know this collection has been out for a while but where I live we only got this collection this week. I went in with the intention of only buying the palette but I ended up leaving with 4 things! Typical me! I Know I have a problem...
The Eyeshadow Palette in Charming is a neutral girl dream,it has 5 shades:
- A matte light beige-vanilla
- A matte light brown
- A warm shimmery bronze
- A dark brown
- A grey-purple

Of all the palettes I own I believe this could be the one! In my opinion this is the perfect palette.

The downside could be price £47 or 51.95€, but I was very lucky because the shop where I bought it had 20% off that day.
I also bought the Nail varnish in 677 Rouge Rubis, a gorgeous red.
The lipstick Rouge Allure in  Radieuse, a baby pink.
And finally Illusion D´Ombre in 827 Initiation, a beautiful bronze shade

Did you buy anything from this collection? Let me know in the comments.

I might have made a cheeky order from Charlotte Tilbury....coming soon

Here is a tutorial of Lisa Eldridge Makeup Tutorial using this collection.

All about the Eyes- AW 13 Beauty

Gucci AW 13 Beauty

Jason Wu AW 13 Beauty

This season the makeup that caught my eye was from the Jason Wu and Gucci shows. It was all about the eyes! I love the copper and blue-purple shades it's a fresh of breath air because a lot of the makeup that I saw from the other shows the focus was on the lips with a red or berry lipstick, which I love but it was nice to see a departure from that. I'm obsessed with this looks, I will definitely try to re-create them. I will let you know if I succeed, we shall see!
What were your favorite makeup looks this season? In your daily makeup do you focus more on the eyes or lips? I used to be a lipstick girl but slowly my love for eyeshadow is growing I blame MAC and Urban Decay and their gorgeous palettes!  Let me know in the comments.

Miranda Kerr Makeup

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in n 63 Rebelle, Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Red Square, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal, Chanel Joues Contraste in n 70 Tumulte, Nars Cactus Flower Cream Blusher

Happy New Year!!!

I love the Victoria Secret's Models, I love their hair and make up, and today I'm going to talk about Miranda Kerr's Makeup.
I found a youtube video with her Make up Artist Noni Smith where she talked about Miranda's makeup. Her look is all about minimal glowing skin and Miranda prefers the focus on the lips rather then on the eyes.

Skin- Miranda doesn't usually wear foundation she wears concealer and one of her favorites is a mineral concealer by Illuminare.

Blush- Nars Cactus Flower Cream Blusher and sometimes on top of that she likes to add Chanel n 70 Tumulte Blusher.

Highlighter- Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal

Eyebrows- Miranda is very particular with her eyebrows most of the time she just uses a clear eyebrow gel from mac or sometimes eyebrow powder.

Eyes- Miranda likes to highlight her inner corner and as for shadow she likes topey brown colours and to contour with a bronzey color. Lots of mascara on the top and bottom lashes, one that she likes is Lancome Hypnose Drama

Lips- The fun part! Miranda loves a red lip a few of her favorites are Chanel Rebelle and Nars Red Square, she likes orange base reds.

I'm definitely putting these items on my makeup wish list!

Beauty- SS 13

Dolce & Gabbana SS 13
Chanel SS 13
When I see a fashion show I don't only pay attention to the clothes but also to the hair and make up.
My favorites this season were Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana.
I loved Dolce & Gabbana bronzed skin, apricot cheek. The focus is on the eyes with an iconic cat eye that instantly gives a vintage feel that I love. And with a pinky peach lip the look is complete.
Pat McGrath was the head Make up Artist for the show.
As for the Hair it was done in a Updo style decorated with a silk scarf.
Guido Palau was the head Hair Stylist for the show.

Chanel had this amazing metallic eye that was the focus of the look, the rest of the skin was kept very natural with a soft pink lip that finished the look.
Peter Phillips was the head Make up Artist for the show
The hair was done in a messy bun style and a pearl was added that made the look more special.
Sam McKnight was the head Hair Stylist for the show.
